Deadly mass shooting investigation underway in Jefferson County


JEFFERSON COUNTY, Miss. – One person died and multiple people were injured during a mass shooting in Fayette.


According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, six people were shot during the Fayette Festival on Main Street just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31.


Sheriff James Bailey confirmed that six individuals were shot, with one of the victims, identified as Rayshaude Hudson, succumbing to his injuries. #RayHud
