41-Year-Old Adam Salazar Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Brother, 45-Year-Old Abraham Salazar, in Corpus Christi

The Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) has arrested 41-year-old Adam Salazar in connection with the fatal shooting of his brother, 45-year-old Abraham Salazar.


The incident occurred Monday night in the 4900 block of Cain Drive and is being investigated as a domestic-related dispute that turned deadly.


At approximately 9:45 p.m., CCPD officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the area.Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, later identified as Abraham Salazar, lying in a driveway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.


Emergency responders immediately began life-saving measures, and the victim was transported to Spohn Shoreline Hospital with CPR in progress. Despite efforts, he was pronounced deceased.
